Description
Alliant Credit Union, the largest credit union in Illinois, is seeking a Branch member service representative to provide face-to-face service to credit union members within the branch environment.
Responsibilities:
Provides high quality service to members while displaying a positive and professional image at all times. Independently processes all financial transactions on member’s accounts: deposits, payments, contributions, withdrawals, transfers, loan advances, disbursements and product and service maintenance. Troubleshoots for opportunities to strengthen member relationships and makes recommendations to improve and strengthen member service. Reviews, qualifies, opens and closes account membership.
Responsible for supporting branch sales goals. Evaluates member’s financial needs and recommends targeted credit union products. Cross sells credit union products and services.
Participates in new membership drives and events including outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
High School graduate and minimum two years experience in banking, customer service and/or sales; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Good computer skills and basic financial mathematics. Prior experience working in a financial institution preferred. 10% travel, some evenings and weekends required
