Description
Alliant Credit Union, the largest credit union in Illinois, is seeking an Account Services Representative to work at our headquarters location in Des Plaines, IL.
Responsibilities include:
- Review of items entered for payment and related receipts if applicable, ascertaining appropriate description, GL account, cost center and approvals are received and recorded.
- Communicates and interacts with internal customers to facilitate processing activities including identifying issues and solutions.
- Assist with reconciliation of wires, loans and investments.
- Assist with government reporting and analysis.
- Support month end closing process.
- Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with privacy act directives.
Requirements
Minimum High School diploma.
Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior level standing in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Current overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient at MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power-Point and Access).
