Relationship Planning Manager

Description

The successful candidate in this position is a key liaison between Investment and Relationship Services and various Member Services channels. Work involves collaborating with the Community Relationship/Outside Sales Team in the design and distribution of sales presentations and tools, as well as, partnering with member services staff to identify sales opportunities and training. Resources to do the job require communication and relationship building skills, creative thinking and a reliance on the knowledge of a variety of marketing concepts. General supervision is received from the National Manager of Investment and Relationship Services

Marketing Planning:

Develops and monitors marketing strategies and promotional activities within Community Select Employee Groups (SEGs), Service Centers, and phone channels to create consistency, maximize effectiveness, and meet business objectives.
Supports all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities within Investment and Relationship Services.
Responsible for the coordination of marketing Alliant's ancillary products and services to employees, members and SEG groups.
Develops and implements launch plans for mid-large size companies (500 employees and above).
Assists in the development of an annual marketing plan for member service channels and community SEG relationships.
Assists in the development and maintenance of the annual marketing calendar for member services and community relationships.

Sales and Service Planning:

Coordinates sales reporting for member services channels. Tracks and communicates sales efforts in relation to plan. Designs and distributes weekly sales newsletter for employees.
Assists in the identification of sales training opportunities and tools for member services employees.
Designs job tools, presentations, and collateral materials for Branch Leadership Team.
Researches and identifies industry best practices.
Acts as a consultant and resource for the Community Relations Team.
Assists in the development of partner relationship plans and annual business plan.
Manages projects independently and creatively.

 

Requirements

Requirements:

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing Communications and a minimum of 3-5 years of relationship or partner management experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  Minimum 1-2 years experience in developing, organizing and coordinating marketing activities, projects and strategies.  Background and experience in financial retail marketing preferred.
