Alliant Credit Union, the largest credit union in Illinois, is seeking a highly motivated Supervisor wh will be responsible for supervising the daily operations within the EFT & Checking Operations area. Work involves moderate difficulty in coordinating workflow, providing guidance to staff and resolving complex member service and operational issues. Resources to do the job require reliance on knowledge of government regulations that pertain to EFT services, Checking, Reg CC. General supervision is received from the Manager of Operations.
Oversees the daily operations and tasks for five areas within EFT Services.
Oversees the prioritization of daily processes.
Ensures department procedures are adhered to and updated regularly.
Provides processing support to department personnel.
Handles escalated member concerns and internal customer concerns.
Ensures accurate and timely completion of all General Ledger entries and back office posting processes.
Ensures escalation of member issues and follows up directly with Alliant Help Desk 45%
Responsible for personnel management. Assists manager with interviewing and hiring, disciplines and terminations.
Establishes yearly developmental goal planners and prepares initial annual performance reviews for manager approval.
Conducts weekly team meetings with staff and focuses on employee engagement 30%
Creates and updates monthly departmental statistics, spreadsheets and implements new tools to increase work flow efficiencies.
Coordinates special projects as assigned including testing and initial requirements
Responsible for the testing of software releases.
Conducts mandatory annual ACH Self Audit.
Coordinates inter-departmental relationships.
Creates, updates, and communicates procedures as they pertains to new projects or enhancements
Completion of Bachelors Degree and a minimum four years experience working in a financial institution; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Must have specialized training and experience in the EFT area, AAP certification is preferred. Previous management experience required. Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Government Regulations D & CC. Intermediate to advanced accounting skills.
PC literate, Word, Excel, Spreadsheets. Advanced Excel a plus
