Technical Support Analyst

Alliant Credit Union, the largest credit union in Illinois, is seeking a competent Technical Support Analyst for our headquarters in Des Plaines, IL. This candidate will be involved with providing internal technical support for 300 plus users via phone, email, or in person for personal computer software and hardware problems.

Responsibilities:

Responds to all call levels from basic troubleshooting to complex system issues

Troubleshoots personal computer software and hardware problems related to PC's, thin clients, Windows OS, CITRIX, Microsoft Office applications and various printers

Identifies and escalates issues to network group

Works on multiple projects concurrently concentrating on integration with primary financial software

Acts as a backup Console Operator

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and minimum of two years of help desk analyst experience working with customers on the phone.

Hands-on experience working with network applications: DOS operating systems, MS Windows - XP, MS Office Software.

Working knowledge of servers, protocols, databases and other network principles.

Willing to work flexible hours.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
