Prescott Elementary School Receives Donated School Supplies
September 17, 2009 | Alliant Credit Union
Students of Prescott Elementary School at 1632 W Wrightwood Ave in Chicago received school supply kits provided by Alliant Credit Union employees and a grant from the Alliant Credit Union Foundation. The supply kits were provided to pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students by the employees of Alliant Credit Union at a school assembly scheduled on the first day of the fall term.

All students in these classes received High Sierra brand book bags packed with school supplies needed for their grade levels such as pens, pencils, crayons, glue, notebooks, folders and more. According to Alliant President & CEO David W. Mooney, "We're extremely happy to help the students of Prescott Elementary and proud of our many employees who purchase and donate school supplies each year to students of a Chicago Public School. And we're delighted to once again participate with High Sierra in this worthy cause."

Prescott Elementary School Principal Erin Roche said, "Our 2009-2010 opening school day was a great success thanks to your (Alliant's) support. As you'll see in the attached thank you letters, students are appreciative of the quality of the supplies and back packs. You have outfitted them well for Learning!"
