Where Alliant reports your payment history
August 03, 2009 | Alliant Credit Union
In February, Alliant started to report all our members' loans and payments to TransUnion, one of the nation's three largest credit bureaus. We had already been forwarding this information to the other two major bureaus (Experian and Equifax), as well as Innovis. By adding TransUnion to the line-up, members will now have a more complete credit report and credit score from all four bureaus. Lenders, employers and others may use this information as a deciding factor when you apply for a loan, insurance policy, apartment or job. Each agency may have a slightly different report for you because, typically, not all credit card companies, retail stores or other vendors report your payment history to all bureaus.
