Alliant Credit Union credit and debit cards now work with Apple Pay

Alliant Credit Union is pleased to announce that its Alliant Visa Platinum and Platinum Rewards credit cards and Alliant checking account Visa debit cards can now be used with Apple Pay, the easy, secure way to pay with new Touch ID Apple devices.

“Our members are convenience oriented and security minded,” said Phil Salis, Alliant senior vice president of member engagement. “And now with Apple Pay, our members can use their Alliant cards to pay with a single touch at hundreds of thousands of stores and within apps.”

Alliant already offers their members credit cards with EMV smart-chip technology and Visa’s Zero Liability protection. “Adding Apple Pay for our cardholders made perfect sense,” said Salis. “With Apple Pay, you don’t share your physical credit card with retailers, so our members’ accounts are better protected.”
