The Holidays leave everyone on a budget and while sparkled, shiny papers may be alluring they will cost you a pretty penny!

Save this Holiday season by getting creative with the way you wrap your gifts. Utilizing old newspaper, yarn, and plain brown wrapping paper decorated with stamps or markers will give your gifts a hand made and inspired look. A little festive ribbon can go a long way! 

Take the project one step further by making your own gift tags and bows out of scraps of paper!

Think about how the elements of your gift can be wrapped together. Are you giving a bag of candy and a pair of socks to your nephew? Wrap the candy inside one sock and use the other as a fun way to tie the top closed. Add a hand made gift tag and your project will look Pinterest-ready!
