Tip Fifty-Two
April 24, 2012
Show Mom you care.
Mother's Day, May 13, 2012, doesn't have to be about buying expensive gifts or wowing your Mom with a day full of activities. It should be more about family and showing your appreciation for helping you with homework, driving you to practice and sleepovers and just being your Mom. Instead of breaking the bank with expensive gifts and events, plan a picnic at a nearby park or a cookout with your family to celebrate, check for free concerts or events that are fun for the whole family or play a game of tennis or golf. Make your Mom dinner and dessert, or a book of coupons that she can redeem throughout the year to catch up on a little rest and relaxation. Lastly, call her to say hello and see how she is doing. Remember, Mother's Day is about showing your Mom you care and it doesn't have to break the bank.
