Tip Seventy-Two

Think big. Start small.
Whether you have financial goals, career goals or personal goals - the key to success is thinking big and starting small.
Imagine and write down the "Big Picture" of what you are aiming to accomplish, then work backwards to decipher a path of how you will get there. You won't lose 10 lbs by thinking about it, but if you start with a healthier diet and moderate exercise, you can work your way there gradually.
Same principles apply to financial goals. If you aim to save an additional 6% of your paycheck, start slowly by saving 2% and increase by 2% every few weeks. You will reach your goals before you know it and the amount won't be such a shock because it was achieved by saving small amounts at a time. Big results come from small steps!
