Tip Sixty-Nine

Start repairing instead of replacing.
Many times when we find a stain on our shirt or a tear in our pants, we toss them to the garbage or donate pile and run out to replace them. Start thinking about the cost of replacing clothing items rather than repairing them. If you add how many items you have replaced which you may have repaired, you can find how much money may have been saved.
A simple needle and thread, home made stain remover or fabric glue can save you a trip to the store and the cash you'd spend on a new item!
