Gift-wrap, tissue paper, serving utensils and serving trays are great quality for the price and everything comes in matching colors. Grab a few $1 vases and cut fresh flowers from your garden to bring vibrant, affordable centerpieces to each table at your next backyard BBQ.

Greeting cards are also a worthy dollar store purchase - name brand greeting cards often exceed $4, while some dollar stores offer two cards for $1! Since many don't save cards anyway, a simple note to say Thank You, Happy Birthday or Congratulations! is best served affordably!
