Tip Three
May 17, 2011
Take care of your car.
Road trips are an essential part of summer. Are we there yet? Before hitting the road, remember to prepare your car by checking the air in your tires and making sure they're properly inflated. It will save you money on gas because under-inflated tires can lower gas mileage. To save even more money and get the most mileage from your tank of gas, take your time and follow the speed limit. Speeding lowers gas mileage by 33% at highway speeds.1
