Make a list, check it twice.
Knowing what you're going to purchase as gifts will help you determine your holiday budget and remove deadline pressures, so make your gift list as early as possible. Having a list will also allow you to better monitor for sales because you know what you're looking for. Using a spreadsheet to make the list will allow you to track purchases as you go, including what and how you paid, so you can better stick to your budget.
