Save to splurge.
We talk a lot about saving and being thrifty, but what is the point of saving if you can't splurge occasionally on yourself and others. Include a discretionary line item in your budget to spend on the little things that aren't necessarily a need, but would make you happy. Reduce both buyer and saver's remorse by saving to splurge every now and then.
