Is there a fee to access Alliant Phone Banking?
No, there is no fee to access Alliant Phone Banking. However, there may be fees depending on the type of transaction that you complete within the phone banking system. For example, making a Stop Payment on an Alliant check is subject to a fee.
How do I access Alliant Phone Banking?
Call from any phone. You will be prompted for your member number and Alliant Phone Banking PIN to access your account information and make transactions. You can speak the numbers aloud to navigate using our speech recognition functionality or you can type the numbers on your phone keypad.
How do I find my member number?
The easiest, quickest way to find your member number is on your monthly Alliant statement. Your member number appears at the top right corner of the statement under "Account No." If you don't have a statement on hand, you can easily access your Alliant statements in Alliant Online Banking. After you log in, just click on the "Statements & Tax Forms" link in the right sidebar, then click the link to your current Alliant statement.
How do I create a new phone banking PIN?
You can create your phone banking PIN right now through Alliant Online Banking. Choose "Settings," then "Self Service Telephone (SST)" and follow the prompts. This method enables you to set your own PIN number so that you can select a number that is easy for you to remember. Or call an Alliant Member Service Representative 24/7 at 800-328-1935 to request that a random PIN be mailed to you. Within the Phone Banking system, you can create a PIN if you don't yet have one. Please note that your phone banking PIN does not affect any existing Alliant PINs that you already have. Always keep your PIN private and confidential, and treat it as you would a credit card or check.
What if I forgot my phone banking PIN?

Yes, you can perform most basic transactions using the phone banking system's automated options and your phone's touchtone keypad. When you call Alliant's toll-free number, press 1 to enter the phone banking system, then press 1 again to go to touchtone banking. Then just listen to the menu options and press the corresponding number to complete your transaction. But remember that you can also navigate through the menu by speaking the menu options.
What if I want to talk to a representative instead of using the menu options for my transaction?
Our Member Service Representatives are still there, 24/7, to help you to complete any transaction. The phone banking system's automation functionality has been enhanced to help members complete their basic transactions more quickly and easily, but if you prefer to speak with a Member Service Representative, you can still do so.
