On July 30, 2014, Alliant fielded 12 teams for its 9th Annual Employee Volleyball tournament for charity. The games took place at Alliant’s Chicago headquarters.

The tournament raised more than $11,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association – over $5,500 in employee donations and a matching grant from the Alliant Credit Union Foundation.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

The Alliant Credit Union Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable foundation established to promote economic empowerment and self-sufficiency, especially in communities where Alliant Credit Union members and employees live and work.

Previous Alliant volleyball tournament fundraising beneficiaries include the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Burbank Schools, the Junior Diabetes Foundation, the American Heart Association, the Hadley School for the Blind, Special Olympics Illinois and Little Friends, Inc.
