Alliant Credit Union Offers Scholarships and Computer Gift Awards

04/10/2014

Alliant Credit Union will award $2,000 scholarships to five members through its 12th annual Members Scholarship Program, announced President & CEO David Mooney. In addition, the credit union is holding its 10th annual National Education Program, which awards computer gift cards to nine young members. Gift card amounts vary from $1,000 to $250, with over $5,000 in computer gifts awarded in all. Both the scholarship and computer gift card programs have proven to be very popular, with hundreds of entries year after year.

Members Scholarship Program applicants must be Alliant members applying to or enrolled in the fall 2014 semester at an accredited undergraduate program at a college, university or vocational/technical school. A scholarship application and required paperwork, including a short essay and school transcripts, must be received at Alliant by June 13, 2014.

National Education Program applicants must be Alliant members between 5 and 17 years of age. They can enter to win a computer gift card by using any media to describe what they want to be as an adult and how a computer could enrich their education. Application materials must arrive at Alliant by August 22, 2014.
