Alliant Named One of NerdWallet’s Best Banks of 2019

Alliant Credit Union is ranked as one of NerdWallet’s best banks in America for the third year in a row.

NerdWallet, a personal finance website and app, compared finance products and services in order to help consumers make smart financial decisions, and recognized Alliant as a NerdWallet 2019 "Best-Of" Award winner in the categories of Best Banks, Best Banks for Savings and Best Banks for Checking. Alliant was the only financial institution to be recognized in all three banking awards categories.

“Many credit unions offer better interest rates than banks do, but they also may have narrow membership requirements and less polished technology. But Alliant Credit Union combines the best of both worlds with broad membership criteria, great rates and a good tech experience,” NerdWallet writes.

Alliant received the 2019 honors during NerdWallet’s inaugural Nerd100 summit Jan. 15 in San Francisco. The event brought together the best of the best across personal finance industries like banking, credit cards and mortgages.

MONEY Magazine, CNBC, the Simple Dollar and other outlets also have recently recognized Alliant and its banking products as some of the best in the country.
