Official Rules for 2026 Alliant Member Scholarship Drawing
No purchase necessary. Purchase does not improve chances of winning. This sweepstakes is restricted to new and existing Alliant Credit Union members. Alliant Credit Union members enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational institution or program for the 2026–2027 school year are eligible to enter the sweepstakes. In order to enter the sweepstakes, you must be a current Alliant member in good standing and complete the official entry form. A total of ten winners – two winners who joined Alliant through select employer group United Airlines, and eight winners who joined through any select employer group (SEG) or their community, or who joined through membership in either Foster Care to Success or The Alliant Credit Union Foundation. Winners will be chosen at random using Random.org. Each winner will receive a $2,000 deposit to their Share 01 Alliant Savings Account.

The sweepstakes is open from 12:00 a.m. CT April 30, 2026, to 11:59 p.m. CT July 31, 2026. To enter the sweepstakes, Member must submit entry online by July 31, 2026, 11:59pm CT. All fields must be filled out in order for entry to be complete and valid. One entry per person. By entering, you agree that your name, image, or likeness, submitted story, or photo (if included) can be publicized by Alliant Credit Union, or used in future Alliant promotional materials without compensation.

On or around August 15, 2026, the ten winners will be chosen at random using Random.org. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of qualified entries. Winners will be notified by email or by phone on or around August 15, 2026.

Upon notification, selected winners will have one (1) week to respond by email or phone and acknowledge acceptance. If a winner fails to respond to Alliant within such time, another winner will be chosen at random, using the same methodology described above.

Upon acceptance, winners will receive a W9 form and a Release & Acceptance of Prize form via email. Within 21 days, winners must sign and return a completed W9 form and Release & Acceptance of Prize form and provide a proof of enrollment document outlined below to receive the prize.

Any one of the following documents is considered acceptable proof of enrollment:

A transcript or course list showing the courses they are enrolled in for dates that include the 2026–2027 school year.
A scanned copy of their student identification card demonstrating that they will be enrolled for the 2026–2027 school year.
A letter from their college student affairs or admissions office stating that they are enrolled as a student for the 2026–2027 school year.
Proof that they have accepted an offer to attend an accredited college or university for the 2026–2027 school year. They must not only include an acceptance offer letter, but also show proof that they have accepted the offer.

Prizes will be deposited to the savings account of the winners within 30 days of the winners returning their completed W9, Release & Acceptance of Prize form and proof of enrollment document.

Alternatively, to enter the sweepstakes without opening an Alliant account, write in with your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, date of birth, and reference Alliant Member Scholarship Sweepstakes on a 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail it to Alliant Credit Union, C/O Marketing, P.O. Box 66945, Chicago, IL 60666-0945. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit: One (1) entry. All mail-in entries must be handwritten and must be postmarked by July 20, 2026 and received by July 31, 2026. Mail-in entries are in the same drawing explained above. Alliant Credit Union is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or postage-due entries, which will be disqualified. If a mail-in winner is chosen, winner will be notified in the same manner as explained above. A $2,000 check will be sent via mail within 30 days from Alliant receiving all required documents explained above.

Void where prohibited. Must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry and a legal U.S. Resident or U.S. Person (including a U.S. Resident Alien) to be eligible. Alliant employees, members of its Board of Directors and their family members of the same household are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes. Alliant reserves the right to cancel the drawing and/or substitute a prize of equal value. Any false or misleading information submitted will lead to disqualification without notification to the entrant. Total value of the prize is $2,000. Winner will be responsible for any tax liability.
