How do I establish a trust account?

To establish a trust account, you will need a completed Application for a Living Trust Account and the pages of the Trust Agreement or Certification of Trust that indicate:

  • Type of trust
  • Name of the trust
  • Date trust was established
  • Names of the Trustees
  • If any of the Trustees are deceased, a copy of the death certificate must be provided
  • Names of the Successor Trustees
  • If Trustees may act independently or must act together (if more than one Trustee)
  • Names of the beneficiaries
  • Signature and notary seal
  • Government issued photo ID of Trustee(s) if membership is not already established at Alliant
