How do I sign up for Alliant’s Two-Factor Authentication? Signing up for Two-Factor Authentication is easy! Log in to Alliant Online Banking and select Settings. Select Access & Security, then Two-Factor Authentication. Type your U.S.-based mobile phone number into the Mobile Number field if the number displayed on the page is incorrect (or if the Mobile Number field is blank because you have no mobile phone number on file with Alliant), check the box that indicates your agreement to the terms of service and click the Continue button. Note: If you do not have a verified email address on file with Alliant, you cannot receive your six-digit authentication code via email when you don’t have access to your phone. If you’re unsure whether you’ve previously verified your email, take a moment now to check. Go to the Personal Information page under My Profile & Settings in Alliant online banking. If your email is verified, a green checkmark and the word “Verified” will be displayed to the right of your email address. If not, follow the prompts to verify your email address.
