Can I add an existing trust as a beneficiary?

Yes. You can designate a trust as a beneficiary for your personal account.

To add a trust as a beneficiary, please submit the following information. 

The first word of the trust name should go into the ‘First name’ field and the rest of the trust name should go into the ‘Last name’ field.

Example #1

• First name: Jane
• Last name: Smith Revocable Trust
• Beneficiary name will appear as Jane Smith Revocable Trust

Example #2

• First name: The
• Last name: Smith Family Trust
• Beneficiary name will appear as The Smith Family Trust.

In the DOB field: Enter the creation date of the trust.

In the SSN field: Enter the SSN or EIN of the person associated with the trust.
