How do I set up a Plaid account?

It’s easy to set up your Plaid Portal account at https://my.plaid.com/:¹⁰⁷

1. Click “Get Started”
2. Read the security notification, then select “Continue.”
3. Read Plaid’s app connection and End User Privacy Policy notifications, then select “Continue.”
4. Enter your mobile phone number and agree to the SMS terms to send a verification code to your phone, then enter the code that is texted to you into the Code box.
5. Review the on-screen list of “matched connections” (apps that you’ve connected to via Plaid using the mobile phone number you just provided). Then click “Continue.” Note: If you do not continue to create an account at this point, you’ll need to start the process over if/when you return to Plaid.
6. Enter your name and email address and choose a password.
7. Read the End User Services Agreement (US) and select the agreement checkbox to continue.
8. Click “Verify” to send a verification code to the email you provided, then enter the code that is emailed to you into the Code box and click Verify.
