Chicago based Alliant Credit Union recently received prestigious awards from two authoritative financial institution rating organizations, according to Alliant President & CEO David W. Mooney. "Being honored with these awards demonstrates Alliant's dedication to providing our members with great rates on loans and deposits and a safe, secure place for their savings," Mr. Mooney said.

Alliant Credit Union Sr. Vice President, Member Services Frank Weidner and Branch Manager Kimberly Ball display 2010 Datatrac Great Rate Awards, recognizing the credit union for its low rates on mortgage, home equity and auto loans. Alliant also recently received Bauer Financial’s “5-Star Superior” rating as one of America’s strongest Credit Unions.

The Datatrac Great Rate Award certifies that Alliant Credit Union has consistently outperformed the U.S. financial institution market average for the 12-month period of April 2009 -March 2010 for the following accounts: new auto loans (48 & 60 months), used auto loans (36 & 48 months), 5-year home equity loans, home equity line of credit, and one-, three- and five-year adjustable rate mortgages. Datatrac is America's largest interest rate data base with retail deposit and/or lending rates for 20,000 financial institutions.
