How do I use Alliant Online Banking to pay my loan?

1. Set up online banking

Go to Alliant Online Banking new user setup and create your online banking credentials. You may need your 10-digit membership number for this step, which you can find in your welcome packet.

 

2. Access Account

Once you have created your online banking credentials, sign in securely to Alliant Online Banking.

 

3. Set up payment

Once logged in, you will find your new loan listed on the left-hand side. Once selected, your loan information will appear to the right. To make the payment, click the Make a Payment button.

 

4. Add an external account OR transfer from your Alliant savings or checking

External Account: On the Make a Payment page, select an account to make the payment from. Open the Select an Account dropdown next to From and select Add External Account. We recommend that you use the instant option, which will prompt you to connect an external account through our partner, Plaid.

 

Alliant savings or checking: On the Make a Payment page, select an account to make the payment from. Open the Select an Account dropdown next to From and select the Alliant account you wish to transfer funds from, then enter the amount, date and frequency.

 

5. Schedule recurring payments (optional)

If you are making your first payment, you will see an Easy Pay button on the Make a Payment page. Press the Easy Pay button to set up automatic recurring payments to your Alliant loan.

 

You can also schedule recurring payments by selecting the Frequency and Start Date on the Make a Payment page.
