Review your credit report annually.
If you can't remember the last time you reviewed your credit report, now is a good to request it and review it. Request a copy to review it for unauthorized accounts on a regular basis to reduce the risk of identity theft and correct errors. The Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACT Act) requires each major credit bureau to provide one free credit report annually who request a copy. Order your credit report for free from www.annualcreditreport.com, the only website authorized by the U.S. government to provide reports from the three major bureaus.
