Alliant offers multiple loan assistance programs to help you better manage your Alliant loans with reduced or delayed payments. If you are currently affected by a financial hardship–a layoff, unexpected illness, etc.—please review the following assistance program options, eligibility and documentation requirements below.


Consumer Loan Modification

Eligible products: Vehicle or Recreation Vehicle loans

This specific plan will provide a reduced interest rate and payment for six months. After completing the online application for assistance and providing the required documents listed below, your loan modification will be reviewed for eligibility and either approved or declined.

To determine eligibility, submit a completed application for assistance along with the following required information:

1. A letter of hardship 

2. Proof of income, such as:

  • Pay Stubs
  • Bank Statements (if self-employed)
  • Unemployment/Public Assistance
  • Pensions & Annuities/SSI/Disability (Short- or Long-Term)
  • Rental Income (entire tax return for prior year with Schedule E. If this is a new rental, current lease agreement is acceptable)
  • Child Support, Alimony or Separate Maintenance Income (Please be advised that child support, alimony, or separate maintenance income you receive is not required to be disclosed unless you would like it to be included for consideration in your modification application.)

Payoff Program

Eligible products: Credit Cards, Unsecured Loans and Vehicles or Recreation Vehicles with deficiency balances.

If you are experiencing financial hardship, you may be eligible for Alliant’s Payoff program, which provides a reduced interest rate and payment over a set term until the remaining loan balance is met. This program is ideal for outstanding credit card payments, unsecured loans and vehicles or recreation vehicles with deficiency balances. The Payoff Program can help you get back on track with your finances.

To find out if you are eligible for this program, complete the application for assistance.  Proof of income is not required to determine eligibility for the Payoff Program.
