    I'm surprised to see some really negative reviews here, maybe they've debugged this app since then, as it's worked well for me for the past year. One thing that helps when photographing the checks is to think about the background. A dark plain color is probably good. I take it on my wood table, but I make a point to align the grain of the wood at a 45 degree angle to the check so the software reads the outline of the check more easily. Works fine. I only have to go to the local branch once or twice a year it seems. I'm surprised more people haven't switched over to credit unions.

    Great App, OK Limits

    I use online deposit all the time and like it very much. My other bank's limit is only $5000, so I appreciate that you can deposit up to $50,000 online with Alliant CU per day. I wish it were a higher limit, since I bank online and occassionally have a bigger check to cash. The mobile app is easy for me to use and easy to check on transaction status. Better than other institution's versions.

    Awesome. I have trouble holding my hand steady to take a pic when standing and the check is on a counter. This time I sat down and placed the check on a desk, and was able to scan and get accepted quickly. Love the app. Like the messaging too.

    I like the overall concept of the app. But, I have experienced many times problems taking a snapshot of the check's backside, getting messages about over cropping, etc. Also, messages on the front that state signature cannot be read and it is there in a perfect snapshot. It can be very frustrating.

    Doesnt work outside USA

    I tried to install it on android. " Not available in your country" I am teaching in Saudi Arabia. Now what? The old app will expire. So how can I do my banking? I sent an email asking for assistance about 3 months with zilch reply. Nice! It would appear that I will need to give up Alliant as they are not able to assist. There are other credit unions out there quite willing to help.

    Just joined Alliant a few weeks ago and have been using the app since. I see that some users aren't too fond of the changes, but as someone who has just begun using this app for the first time, I love it. The look is clean and simple. The aesthetic appeal alone means a lot to me, as I've tried other banking apps from other institutions that didn't have the same beauty+function. I have it installed on both my iPad mini and Samsung Galaxy S5, and the app works beautifully on both. I've tried depositing a check, transferring money, and sending a secure message, and each feature worked really well. Planning to try paying bills next, but so far, so good!

    I use an update to date iPhone. Sometimes the app remembers my user name, sometimes not. I can't get it to use my thumbprint, even after reinstalling and many attempts. I hate the way my transactions are listed. Having them by date & month was much better. I have to scroll way too much to find a transaction. Your app developer sold you a bad app.

    The new and" improved"app does not even open. I'm bummed out because now I can't get the old one back. First it took forever to download,and then it does not open. Please fix it
