Alliant Again Recognized Globally with Gallup Great Workplace Award

For the third straight year, Alliant Credit Union has received the Gallup Great Workplace Award, which recognizes global organizations for their exceptional ability to create engaged workplace cultures that drive business outcomes.

Alliant is one of only 39 companies worldwide to receive the award this year.

“As we continue to grow, we also remain committed to keeping our employees engaged while fostering a culture of innovation and development,” Alliant CEO Dave Mooney said. “This award is really a celebration of our employees and their tireless work in service of our members.”   

Alliant joins an elite group of organizations that average 14 engaged employees for every one actively disengaged employee, which is nearly seven times the rate in the U.S. and more than 15 times the rate for workforces globally.

Alliant, which now has more than 500 employees, also has been named one of the country’s best workplaces by Fortune and consulting firm Great Place to Work the last two years.

Gallup’s in-depth scientific research links employee engagement to nine performance outcomes: customer metrics, profitability, productivity, turnover, employee and patient safety incidents, shrinkage, absenteeism, and quality. Organizations with highly engaged workforces can grow at a rate 4.3 times greater than their competitors.

Alliant and the other 2018 award recipients also have shown measurable business impact as a result of having a more engaged workforce and integrating key engagement elements in four areas: strategy and leadership, accountability and performance, communication and knowledge management, and development and ongoing learning.

A panel of Gallup workplace experts evaluates organizations and assesses them against criteria established by the most comprehensive workplace study ever conducted, and the top organizations are selected as Great Workplace Award winners.
