How can I transfer funds in Alliant online banking?

Below are step-by-step instructions for using the "Transfer Money" form to transfer funds within Alliant online banking. After logging in to online banking at alliantcreditunion.com/onlinebanking, click on the "Transfer Money" link at the top of the page (see image below), then follow the form prompts and instructions below to complete the form and schedule your transfer.

1. Select a From and To account from the dropdowns.
Note: All your transfer-eligible Alliant accounts will show in the dropdown menu. (Certificates and some tax-advantaged accounts with special withdrawal/deposit processes may not be displayed). External accounts from other financial institutions that you've already made transfers to/from will also appear as options. If you want to add a new external account, click on "Add & Manage Transfer Accounts" in the blue bar above the form, then follow the prompts to add your other account into your Alliant online banking account. 
 

2. Type the amount you want to transfer into the “Amount” field.
 

3. Select an option from the Frequency dropdown. You can make one-time transfers or set recurring transfers to re-occur weekly, every two weeks, twice a month, monthly, quarterly, twice a year or annually.
 

4. In the Withdrawal Date field, you can type in the date on which you want your one-time transfer to occur or your recurring transfer to start, or you can click on the calendar icon to view a calendar and select your start date.
 

5. In the optional Memo field, you can type a short description of your transfer. This description is what will appear in online banking’s transaction list and on your Alliant account statement.
 

6. Click the "Next" button.
 

7. The Review Transfer Details page displays the options that you’ve selected for your transfer. After reviewing them and confirming they are correct, click the “Submit Transfer” button to complete your transfer request. You’ll then see a screen confirming that your transfer has been successfully scheduled.
 

Please note that one-time transfers can also be scheduled using the Alliant mobile banking app. Just click Transfers at the bottom of the mobile banking app screen and follow the prompts to  indicate the accounts, amount and date to schedule your transfer.
